WebI am completely lost when it comes to electronics, I was hoping that someone could help/give advice on what I can either do myself, or tell a local electronics repair shop to try. WebTo be clear, Optishot does not directly measure your golf ball as SkyTrak does with a high-speed camera. The infrared sensors are only measuring the club itself when it travels over the mat. From there it estimates what your ball flight would be.

WebBoth just provide club data, and not ball data, but from what I can tell the RMotion is less prone to issues that Optishot has like not being able to read certain clubs, miss reads and lighting issues. Also you aren't hitting your actual sensor on every swing like you do with the OptiShot.
